When the Director asks me if I like the script revisions…
The last movie we stopped at cherry. Well… we stopped making copies at Cherry. We kept revising things anyway, but the office said FU. Every day we had rewrites. The Director would often come in with, no joke, a pile of napkins, hand them off to the scripty, UPM or Me and say “This is todays work. I need sides from this. Are they ready yet?”
My favorite is when the Director doesn’t even ask us to print up new sides. We had one director who did rewrites on the spot and then forgot that he didn’t tell any of us the revisions and got angry at my 2nd for not having sides ready when we were doing camera rehearsals.
